New L Lenses

So, I got my new lenses yesterday - I am so very impressed with the 16-35mm especially. They are both L lenses, giving extreme clarity with speed, I've noticed a difference already, and was pretty excited to take pictures at the 3 in 1 year end outing last night, as well as try out some shots with my spread of tulips. I have some more practice shots to do tomorrow just to feel confident, before heading out for the first of this weekends two weddings. Excited to create some cool memories for my couples!

This Weekend!

This weekend will be a BIG one! One wedding on Friday, one on Saturday - Sooo Exciting! On top of which I'll have the new L lenses to work with - Fast and Sharp! It's always exciting seeing the creative ways couples personalize their weddings, it never ceases to amaze me!!

Treasure Hunting

Today Bradley and I spent lots of time outside - it was beautiful! We had Little Bradley over as well for a little while, and the adventures that were had in the little shrub area at the front of the house - WOW, lets digg! Later, Bradley and I went Treasure Hunting, we live within throwing distance from the local golf course, and found 11 golf balls. It was a great day well spent with my little man!

Tom & Laurie

Upcoming this August, Tom and Laurie will be getting married. I've known Tom for many years now, and seen how he has watched and cared for his Mom as well, what a sweet guy. And Laurie, well, she is one of the most bubbly women I have met - you two make a great fun couple-Congratulations!

John & Sarah April 4/09

What a beautiful day to get married - and Wow - a beautiful couple too! These two were up for anything, and I was honoured to capture the memories of John and Sarah’s beautiful day. This fun couple took everything in stride, from the moment the maid of honour’s dress zipper split – top to bottom – 20 minutes before the ceremony began, through the chilly times outside, it was all good memories!

The GGS Screen is by far the best options I have found for protecting the lcd on my camera. Not only does it take ALL the brunt of any scratch or scuff, but it comes at a cost of around only $10 US - well worth the investment. Available for almost every camera, easy to find on ebay too.
