Had a great family shoot with an active little man this morning – I don’t think I have seen so many adorable expressions on a little guy for the camera before!  Cindy, it was such a fun time seeing your bright smile, loving being a Mommy!!   Enjoy the Roar!!

I had the ultimate honour to photograph my niece’s wedding yesterday!  What a beautiful day – rain or shine, the weather would not dictate the day – rather the fun loving caring personalities of Jeremy & Laura rolled with the days sprinkles!   Congratulations to Jeremy and Laura!  We are thrilled for you as you begin your lives as one!

Breaking Boards

 

As of the the beginning of the school year  –  Seikido.  We are far from being black belts, however, it is a great family activity, and some nice exercise a couple of times a week.  During a recent testing night AnneMarie of Kierstead Videography came out and put together this video of some of the students breaking boards…eventually I will get here too!

Signs Of Spring

Recently I have had the chance to take the kids and go down to the Pinery with my Aunt for a little bird watching and close interaction!  We all thoroughly enjoyed our time as these amazing little creatures bravely scoped out the visitors and then one by one took a leap – or flight into our hands for a nutty treat!

Fortunately, people are standing up for their right to speak out, and latest poles by CBS show an overwhelming majority of people saying “Yes, everyone is entitled to express their beliefs”. Family Fall Fun

Fall is one of the greatest times to have a family portrait done!  Not only are there beautiful colours, but we also enjoy including a new family picture each year in our Christmas cards too!  This beautiful little family was a fun treat to captured memories with on their family farm recently.  Lots of bright beautiful smiles !

Great Family Fun At The Lodge

Looking for a fun time for the family?  Great Wolf Lodge is seriously one of our favourite places to go, especially during the cold wintery months!  84 Degrees in the middle of January is the way to go !

Boys, Boys Boys

Momma’s surrounded by boys in this family – and I have a feeling – she’s lovin’ it!  These four handsome little men along with their parents got in some running and exploring in the process of their shoot, a good way to round out the day!

 

Paul & Susannah

This past Saturday I had the privilege of attending one of the most memorable weddings I have yet to attend – a very special wedding, as it was the wedding of my niece Susannah. The first of the Gordon Grandchildren to get married, and begin a new life together with her husband Paul. I also had the privilege of attending as a guest and was thrilled that Paul and Susannah had chosen Reid Lambshead of When He Met Her Photography out of the Toronto area to capture the wonderful memories of their day. These two gentlemen where a pleasure to meet, and did a wonderful job throughout the day. I took a few images of my own of course as the day went on and added in a few to the video at the reception. Below is a little story of the day, a collection of some wonderful memories!!

Family Times

This was my second opportunity to capture memories with this wonderful family.  With the most expressive little sweetie, and  handsome little man, Hunter and Kaley brought their parents along for a family sitting, and am thrilled to share a few of those moments now.

A Renewing Surprise

Renewing your wedding vows can be a very exiting time. Such was this case with this couple, who with the help of their children, pulled off a surprise ceremony, renewing their vows in their backyard after inviting family and friends over for a simple backyard get together. The ceremony was very meaningful as the couple renewed their vows in their faith, and their children stood by their sides.  Congratulations Kaz Family!

I got to enjoy a wonderful time with this little family this past week as the sun was setting on their family farm.  Both of the kids were excellent during the shoot, showing off their bright eyes and smiles…their Mommy and Daddy did great too!
