Brian and Ashely had a very Scottish Wedding Day - Bagpipes included for sure! But Killer, well, he was adopted into the clan - and did extremely well.

My Little Princess
Sugar and spice and everything nice...does it really describe little girls? I grew up a tom boy, the only girl in the family with 5 brothers, I assumed my little girl would be kind of like me that way. Now don't get me wrong - she has a lot of me in her - but, she is without a doubt - a girly girl:) Dressing up over and over and over again through the day while imagining and dreaming pretty dreams. So would I describe her in a sweet and innocent manner - well, you be the judge - you see, Captured Innocence Photography was named after her - her innocence, that I love to see in those beautiful big brown eyes!

Mark & Leanne's Big Day Is Approaching!
Mark and Leanne were such a fun couple to meet up with out in the country! We got to roam around Contentment Valley for a while, find a baby frog, and later even catch the attention of the police :) If I could describe Mark, it would only take 2 words - Brave Gentleman. That was pretty easy - Brave to do whatever, including jumping from the old bridge, and Gentleman - well, that was pretty obvious - guys, take notice. Leanne on the other hand is a whole different story - wow, this is easy too - Beautifully Cool Under Pressure - ok, that wasn't 2 words, but hey, she's a multitasker, and has managed not only to prepare for her own wedding this summer, but also, be in no less than 2 other weddings - in - not just attend! And still she shines with a Beautiful Smile!
Looking forward to an Incredible Wedding day with Mark & Leanne!

The New Canon 7D
Back in July when I was taking the Michael Andrew Photography Workshop I was able to use Michael's Canon 5D - what a beautiful camera, the shutter release mechanism in comparison to the 50D in itself was amazing - but this years new release from Canon has stepped it up in a huge way - and I'm not just talking the video! They have recently announced the loaded 7D, with my favourite features in this latest addition being:
18 MP, 8 FPS
A 19 Point Focusing Grid
And Built In Speedlight transmitter - this is my favourite!!!
Here's the Full Scoop, direct from the Canon Website:
A Whole New Class of EOS.
With a host of brand new features designed to enhance every facet of the photographic process, from still images to video, the new EOS 7D represents a whole new class of camera.
Made to be the tool of choice for serious photographers and semi-professionals, the EOS 7D features an all-new 18.0 Megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors, capturing tremendous images at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8 fps. The EOS 7D has a new all cross-type 19-point AF system with improved AI Servo AF subject tracking and user-selectable AF area selection modes for sharp focus no matter the situation. The EOS 7D's Intelligent Viewfinder, an entirely newly-designed technology, provides 100% coverage and displays user-selected AF modes as well as a spot metering circle and on demand grid lines. New iFCL Metering with 63-zone dual-layer metering system uses both focus and color information to provide accurate exposure even in difficult lighting. The EOS 7D also captures Full HD video at 30p (29.97 fps), 24p (23.976 fps) and 25p with an array of manual controls, including manual exposure during movie shooting and ISO speed selection. The EOS 7D features a magnesium alloy body that is dust- and weather-resistant and shutter durability of up to 150,000 cycles. Compatible with over 60 EF and EF-S lenses as well as with EOS System accessories, the creative opportunities - not just with stills but also with video - are beyond amazement.

The Innocence I See
I am so privileged to see the beauty and miracle of a new baby. Their tiny toes, the little wrinkles in their skin, the innocence in their eyes. What could be more beautiful?
